Frozen Timelines (new tweets not appearing)

  I created Twiter account about 15 hours ago. I started following 40-50 profiles (e.g. @Wimmer, @Dryzek, @hazan, @dotmariusz). Today I noticed that I am following nobody (no list, no avatars, 0), but old Tweets are still visible in my timeline which is frozen now. API says I am following 40 profiles correctly, but I do not see any action in my homepage.

  Using FireFox, Windows XP.

  I am still waiting from June 4, 09 for this "frozen time line" issue to get fixed! I've STOPPED using twitter all together. TERRIBLE SUPPORT! None of my tweets appears on the public timeline! Many are having all sorts of problems with "time line"??? I guess Twitter Gods do not know how to fix these problems or just don't care... SIGH.

  The timeline is updated sporadically and incompletely; some tweets don't show in the timeline but do in the replies section; some don't show unless I go to the person's page on the web; some are simply lost in the ether. It's been happening for at least the past two days, both on the web and through clients.

  I have the problem too. I only see my friends' twits in my timeline if they are replying to me, but if I go their profile I see all twits. Pls fix it it is SO annoying!

  As of yesterday (19 hours ago) two of my tweets have not made it to the timeline. ANother tweet one hour ago has not made it to the timeline, but other people's tweets are being seen.
